Email Campaigns let you send branded emails to your contacts at scale. Choose between a classic editor for full control or AI-powered personalization for unique messages per recipient.

Broadcast Types

TypeDescription
Classic EditorRich text editor with template support, merge tags, and scheduling
AI PersonalizedAI generates a unique email for each contact based on your content

Creating a Classic Broadcast

1

Choose Broadcast Type

Navigate to Campaigns > Email and click Create Broadcast. Select Classic Editor.
2

Set Up Details

Enter a broadcast name, select a From address, choose your Audience (all contacts, subscribers, or a custom segment), and write your Subject line.
3

Compose Content

Write your email using the rich text editor. Optionally select a template to start from — Brand Builder templates for styled designs or Quick Compose templates for simple layouts. Adjust font size from the editor toolbar.
4

Personalize with Merge Tags

Insert [First Name] or [Last Name] merge tags to personalize each email with the recipient’s details.
5

Add Attachments

Drop in PDF attachments (proposals, spec sheets, decks). Attachments are sent with each individual email — the same file goes to every recipient.
6

Sign with the Sender Signature

The campaign automatically uses your inbox’s managed sequence signature — edit it once on the Email Settings page and every campaign and sequence step uses the same block.
7

Configure Options

Optionally set a Reply-To address, Preview Text (the snippet shown in inboxes), and a Schedule for future sending.
8

Send or Save

Click Send to deliver immediately, or Save as Draft to come back later.

Creating an AI Personalized Broadcast

1

Choose Broadcast Type

Navigate to Campaigns > Email and click Create Broadcast. Select AI Personalized.
2

Set Up Details

Enter a broadcast name, select a From address, choose your Audience, and write your Subject line.
3

Provide Content

Paste your article, announcement, or product update into the content area. The AI uses this as the basis for personalization.
4

Generate Personalizations

Click Generate Personalizations. The AI creates a unique version of the email for each contact (up to 10), tailored to their profile.
5

Review Previews

Expand each contact’s preview to review the personalized content before sending.
6

Send

Click Send to deliver the personalized emails.
AI Personalized broadcasts work best with substantive content like product announcements, case studies, or industry insights that the AI can tailor to each recipient.

Templates

Templates give you a head start when composing Classic broadcasts.
Template TypeDescription
Brand BuilderStyled HTML templates created with the visual editor. Preserves your brand design — content is view-only in the broadcast editor.
Quick ComposeSimple text-based templates. Fully editable in the broadcast editor.
Manage templates from the Templates tab on the Email Campaigns page. When creating a broadcast, select a template to auto-populate the subject, content, and formatting.

Audience Targeting

Choose who receives your broadcast:
AudienceDescription
All ContactsEvery contact in your organization
SubscribersContacts who have not unsubscribed
Custom SegmentsFiltered groups you’ve created (e.g., by industry, location, or engagement)
Manage audiences from the Audience tab on the Campaigns page. The tab is organized into three sections:
SectionContents
General contacts & audienceStandalone contacts and segments — split into nested Contacts and Segments inner tabs
Lead audienceSegments built from your Leads table
Account audienceSegments built from your Accounts table

Add to Audience

From either the Leads or Accounts table, select rows and click Add to audience. A unified dialog lets you either:
  • Create a new segment from the current selection, or
  • Add to an existing segment via dropdown
This is the single workflow for all audience additions — there’s no longer a separate path for contacts vs. segments.

Formatting and Attachments

Each broadcast supports:
FeatureWhere to set it
Font sizeToolbar in the rich text editor — pick from a defined scale (no arbitrary values)
PDF attachmentsDrop zone below the editor. Multiple PDFs supported. Sent with every email in the broadcast
Sender signatureAuto-applied from the inbox’s managed sequence signature (see below)
PDF attachments use the same file-size limits as your sending inbox provider (typically 25 MB per message across all attachments combined).

Sender Signature

Broadcasts now use the same signature as Sequences — there is no separate campaign-side signature setting. Every classic broadcast, AI personalized broadcast, and sequence email step renders from the same managed signature.
  • One canonical HTML signature per inbox — edit once and every campaign and sequence picks up the change on the next send
  • Rendered consistently across personalized blocks and template wrappers — the personalized block is signed before being wrapped in the campaign HTML shell, so the signature always ends up at the bottom of the visible body
  • Editable from Email Settings → Inbox → Signature, or via the deep link on the Inbox Settings dialog
If you previously kept a separate signature for broadcasts, it’s no longer used. Edit your sequence signature on the Email Settings page once and every send — campaign or sequence — picks it up.

Broadcast Status

StatusDescription
DraftSaved but not sent. Fully editable.
ScheduledQueued for future delivery. Editable until send time.
SendingCurrently being delivered.
SentDelivered to all recipients.
FailedDelivery encountered an error.
You can edit or delete broadcasts in Draft or Scheduled status. Once a broadcast is sending or sent, it becomes read-only.

Scheduling

Schedule broadcasts up to 30 days in advance. Supported formats include:
  • today, tomorrow
  • in 3 days, in 1 week
  • 03/15/2026 3:00 PM
  • 2026-03-15 15:00
All times use your local timezone displayed in the scheduling field.

Tracking & Analytics

After a broadcast is sent, view engagement metrics:
  • Total Sent — Number of emails delivered
  • Total Opened — Unique opens
  • Open Rate — Percentage of recipients who opened
Click View in the Opens column on any sent broadcast to see per-recipient open data, including how many times each contact opened the email.

Duplicating & Viewing Broadcasts

Duplicate a Broadcast

Open the menu on any broadcast row (draft, scheduled, sending, sent, or failed) and click Duplicate. A new draft is created with the same subject, content, audience, and settings, and the editor opens for you to make changes before sending. Duplication works across all broadcast types — Classic, AI Personalized, lead broadcasts, and account broadcasts.

View a Sent Broadcast

Sent broadcasts are now clickable. Click any row in the Sent state to open a full-screen detail dialog showing:
  • A read-only HTML preview of exactly what was delivered
  • Sender, audience, subject, schedule, and send timestamps
  • Open metrics linked to per-recipient detail
Pair Duplicate with View Sent to use a successful past broadcast as a starting point — review what worked, duplicate it, and tweak for the new audience.
