Most people connect a personal or shared inbox directly (see Connecting Inboxes) and never touch this page. Domains are for teams that want a dedicated agent address on their own domain, sales@yourcompany.com, that Emanate receives and replies from, and for controlling deliverability on outbound mail.

Verify your sending domain

Verifying your domain tells email providers that Emanate is allowed to send on your behalf, which keeps your mail out of spam folders.
1

Add your domain

Go to DemandDomains and add your domain (e.g. yourcompany.com).
2

Add the DNS records

Emanate gives you a short set of DNS records to add at your domain registrar. These prove ownership and authorize sending.
3

Verify

Once the records propagate, click Verify. The domain flips to verified and you can create addresses on it.

Create an agent address

On a verified domain you can create an address the AI agent receives and replies from. This creates an address like sales@abc-steel.com.

Get incoming mail into an agent address

To have your existing mail reach the agent address, forward a copy from your provider. Your original inbox keeps working. Forwarding sends a copy, it doesn’t redirect anything.
1

Open settings

In Gmail, click the gear iconSee all settingsForwarding and POP/IMAP.
2

Add the address

Click Add a forwarding address and enter your agent address (e.g. sales@abc-steel.com).
3

Confirm

Google sends a confirmation code. It lands in the agent inbox in Emanate. Enter the code in Gmail.
4

Enable

Select Forward a copy of incoming mail to and pick the agent address. Choose Keep Gmail’s copy in the Inbox so your team still sees originals, then Save Changes.
To confirm it’s working, send a test email to your original address and check that the copy arrives in the agent inbox within a few minutes.

Per-inbox settings

Each inbox has a Settings panel with a few useful controls:
Ignore-subject patterns are the fastest way to stop the AI agent from wasting a draft on an automated “your order shipped” notification. Add a rule and those threads skip the agent entirely.
