What Intelligence does
- Answers questions across every signal Emanate captures: accounts, leads, pipeline, email, sequences, campaigns, and knowledge-base usage.
- Generates visualizations on the fly (in your Emanate dark theme) and lets you pin the ones worth keeping.
- Surfaces anomalies automatically: a pulsing eye icon in the sidebar means something moved enough to look into.
- Suggests questions daily based on your data, so the page is never a blank box.
Intelligence vs Metrics
Both read from the same underlying data, so numbers reconcile across the two surfaces.

Asking questions
Type a question in plain English. Intelligence looks up the data it needs, runs a read-only query scoped to your organization, generates a chart if one helps, and replies in business language. You’ll see a short “thinking” trace on complex questions, then a final answer with any charts inline.Scope a question with the data-source picker
A picker in the chat bar lets you point a question at a specific slice of your data (say, only sequences, or only your knowledge base) when you want to keep the answer tightly focused.Example questions
- “Which accounts have the most open pipeline right now?”
- “Show me our email response times by rep this month.”
- “What are my most important leads?”
- “Which sequences drove the most replies last quarter?”
- “Which accounts have gone quiet after ordering regularly?”
Composite ranking
For open-ended questions like “what are my most important leads?”, Intelligence blends multiple signals into a composite score rather than sorting on one field, and explains the ranking so you understand why items are ordered the way they are.Skills
Skills are reusable prompt templates you attach to a chat so you start from a proven starting point instead of a blank box. There are three kinds:- System: seeded by Emanate (e.g. Top accounts deep dive, Lead conversion funnel).
- Personal: your own saved prompts.
- Workspace: shared across your org.
Suggested questions
Each day Intelligence pre-loads a few personalized starter questions on the empty state, scoped to what’s actually in your data. They refresh daily, expire after 24 hours, and can be dismissed individually. When an anomaly is detected, one suggestion becomes a one-click investigation prompt.Anomaly detection
Intelligence checks your account periodically and compares the recent window against the prior one for meaningful swings in your key numbers. When something moves enough, the eye icon in the sidebar gains a pulse and a pre-written question appears at the top of your suggestions, e.g. “Your reply rate dropped 40% this week. Want to investigate?” Click it to drill into the cause.Visualizations
Charts created during a conversation appear inline. Pin one to keep it in the Visualizations panel. Pinned charts persist across sessions and survive new conversations. Unpin any time.Conversation history
Every conversation is saved. From the History panel you can resume a thread to keep asking follow-ups in context, rename it to find it later, or delete old ones. Charts from a past conversation come back when you resume it.Privacy & safety
- Every query is scoped to your organization. Intelligence can’t see other customers’ data.
- Queries are read-only. Intelligence can’t modify, delete, or export your data.
- Chart code runs in an isolated sandbox, not against your live data.
Limitations
- Intelligence answers questions about data already in Emanate. Systems like your CRM or ERP need to be synced first via Integrations.
- Time-based questions default to a recent window unless you specify otherwise.
- For very broad questions (“how’s the business?”), it may ask a clarifying question before running.
