Home is where your day starts in Emanate. It is built around a personal assistant that belongs to you: it has its own email address, reads the mail you connect, drafts replies in your voice, and runs the tactics you turn on. The Home section of the sidebar has two entries, Agent Inbox and Tactics, and these docs cover both plus the tactics you build yourself.

Agent Inbox

Where you work. Chat with your assistant, review the replies it drafted, clear what needs your attention, and read the Rundown.

Tactics

Fourteen built-in tactics your assistant runs for you: a morning brief, an evening sweep of open loops, follow-ups, inbox filing, quotes, a daily check-in call, and more.

Custom Tactics

Describe a tactic in plain language, Ray builds it, you test it on your recent mail, and your assistant runs it on the trigger you choose.

Who it’s for

Home is built for the person living in their inbox all day: a salesperson, an account manager, an inside sales rep. It answers one question every morning, “what needs me today?”, and does as much of the busywork around that answer as it safely can.

How the pieces fit together

  • Your assistant is the one worker behind everything here. You create it once on the Tactics page, give it a name, and it gets an address like rivet@hq.emanate.ai. You can email, forward, or CC it from day one. Who it is, everything it can do, and how it differs from Ray, the AI built into the rest of the product, is on Your assistant.
  • Tactics are the jobs you hand it. Each one is a card you turn on and tune. Some run when an email arrives, some on a schedule you set, one is a phone call.
  • Agent Inbox is where the results land: the replies it drafted, the things waiting on a decision from you, the automations it has proposed, and a chat box for asking it anything.
Turn on the Agent Inbox tactic and your assistant drafts replies to the kinds of email you choose, in your own mailbox. Turn on Morning Brief and it emails you a rundown at 8 AM. Turn on Loose Ends and every weekday evening it lists the replies you still owe. Everything it does is logged, and every log line opens to show what it read and why it decided what it did.

What leaves your hands, and what doesn’t

Your assistant writes a lot, but it sends almost nothing on its own.
The two tactics that change your mailbox by themselves, The Organizer and The Archiver, only touch mail that is already yours, log every action, and can be put back in one click. Nothing in Home emails a customer without you pressing send.

It learns from what you do

There is nothing to train. When you edit a draft before sending it, your assistant studies the change and writes more like you next time. When you reply to one of its emails with a correction, it remembers the instruction. When you dismiss what it surfaces, it stops surfacing that kind of thing. You can see and edit everything it has kept under Knowledge on the Agent Inbox tactic and under Memories in your assistant’s settings.
