# Trust & Security

> How Emanate keeps your team in control of what its AI does on your behalf

You stay in control of what Emanate does on your behalf: every action our AI takes is either approved by a person on your team or bounded by rules your team configured.

## Does Emanate send messages without our approval?

When the AI drafts responses to inbound inquiries and quote requests, an individual reviews and approves before anything sends. When it identifies new accounts and contacts worth pursuing, your team decides what to act on.

The only thing that runs automatically is outbound sending, and only within campaigns your team has built, approved, and set limits on: audience, content, suppression lists, and sending volume.

## Is our data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is never used to train shared AI models. Our agreements with our AI model providers carry the same commitment down the chain.

## Who can see our data?

Your data is isolated to your environment. Access is restricted to what is needed to run the product, encrypted in transit and at rest, and logged.
