# Stay-in-Touch

> The people you have gone quiet on, each with a warm check-in drafted in your voice

**Stay-in-Touch** surfaces people you've connected with but haven't talked to in a while, and drafts a warm check-in
for each so relationships don't go cold. It looks for people you have had a real back-and-forth with, not cold
leads. Find it under Tactics → Stay-in-Touch.

## When it runs

Monday mornings at the hour you set, on the cadence you choose: every Monday, every other Monday, or the first
Monday of the month. The default is 8:00 AM Eastern, weekly. Press Run now to get a digest immediately. Your
inbox must be connected.

## Settings

| Section | Setting | What it does | Default |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Schedule** | Send at and Timezone | The hour the digest lands, in your zone | 8:00 AM Eastern |
| | Cadence | Weekly (every Monday), Every other Monday or First Monday of the month | Weekly |
| **Recipients** | Send to | Your login email or your connected inbox address | Login email |
| **Who to surface** | People per digest | 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 people, deepest relationships first. Fewer means sharper picks. | 5 |
| | Skip contacts in active sequences | Never surfaces someone you are already reaching out to | On |
| | Exclude domains | People at these companies are never surfaced | Empty |

It surfaces contacts you have had a genuine exchange with but have not talked to in 90 days or more.

## What you get

One digest email a week, listing the people worth a check-in with a note on why now and a check-in already written
for each. Under Activity, each digest appears as, for example, 5 people worth a check-in. Open it and each
person shows their title, account, how long since you last spoke, a summary of your last thread and Why now.

For each person you can:

* **Draft a check-in** to open the message: To, Subject and Message are filled in, and you can edit them.
Send now sends it from your connected inbox as a new email; Stage draft puts it in your Drafts folder
instead. Once sent or staged, the row locks so the same email cannot go twice.
* **Add to sequence** to put them into a [sequence](/sequences/overview) instead.

The digest to you is the only thing that goes out on its own. A check-in reaches the contact only when you press
Send now.
