# Referral Follow-Ups

> When a reply points you to someone new, your assistant emails you the drafted outreach and launches it only when you reply yes

**Referral Follow-Ups** covers the moment a reply points you to someone new. When a referral produces a drafted
follow-up sequence, your assistant emails you for approval. Reply yes and it launches. Find it under
Tactics → Referral Follow-Ups.

## When it runs

When a referral reply has been read and a follow-up sequence has been drafted for the referred people (paused, not
running). There is nothing to schedule and no Run now. It works from your assistant's address, so it does not need
a connected inbox.

## Settings

There are none. The switch in the header is the whole configuration.

## What you get

An email from your assistant, threaded into the conversation the referral came from, containing the drafted
sequence. From there:

* Reply with a plain yes and the sequence starts. This is the same gate as the Activate button in the app.
* Ask what is in the draft and your assistant answers from the actual copy.
* Reply with anything vague and nothing launches. If it is unsure, it says so and waits.

Under Activity, each referral appears as Asked you to approve the outreach, Launched the referral
outreach or You left this referral alone.

Your assistant asks once per referral and at most five times a day. It only ever writes to you, never to the
referrer or the referred contact.
