# Morning Brief

> A rundown in your inbox every morning: urgent threads, watched topics, account activity and spotted deals

**Morning Brief** emails you a morning rundown of urgent threads plus updates on the topics you ask it to watch.
It is one email, from your assistant's address, at the hour you choose. Find it under Tactics → Morning Brief.

## When it runs

Every morning at the time on the Schedule section, in your timezone. The default is 8:00 AM Eastern. Press
Send a brief now to get one immediately.

Morning Brief is the one inbox-reading tactic you can turn on before connecting your inbox. Account and deal
activity and spotted deals work without it; the urgent-threads section needs your mailbox connected.

## Settings

| **Recipients** | Send to | Your login email or your connected inbox address. Falls back to your login email if your inbox disconnects. | Login email |

| | Watched topics | Updates on the topics you list | On |
| | Account & deal activity | Recently active accounts and deals you own | On |

| | Topics to watch | Add a topic and press Enter, for example *steel pricing* or *contract renewals*. The brief surfaces updates on each one. | Empty |

Topics to ignore are no longer set here. They are one list on your assistant, in Assistant Settings, and apply
to every tactic.

## What you get

One email a morning. Nothing is drafted into your mailbox and nothing goes to anyone but you. On a quiet day, when
every source you turned on has nothing new, no email is sent.

Under Activity, each morning appears as Sent your morning brief or Nothing to brief. Open a row to see
which sources fed it and the email exactly as it was sent.
