# Email Digest

> The day's newsletters and inventory emails summarized into one evening email

**Email Digest** summarizes the newsletters and inventory emails from the last day into one digest, on the topics
you pick. It keeps the low-priority mail out of your way without losing it. Find it under Tactics → Email Digest.

## When it runs

Every evening at the time on the Schedule section, in your timezone. The default is 6:00 PM Eastern. Press
Send a digest now to get one immediately. Email Digest reads your mailbox, so your inbox must be connected
before it can be turned on.

## Settings

| Section | Setting | What it does | Default |

| **Schedule** | Send at | The hour the digest lands, on the hour | 6:00 PM |
| | Timezone | The zone that hour is read in | Eastern |
| **Recipients** | Send to | Your login email or your connected inbox address. Falls back to your login email if your inbox disconnects. | Login email |
| **Content** | Categories to digest | Add a category and press Enter, for example *inventory*, *materials* or *steel pricing*. Each evening your assistant scans the last day of mail and summarizes anything matching. Leave it blank to digest newsletters and inventory updates. | Empty |

Topics to ignore are set once on your assistant, in Assistant Settings, and apply to every tactic.

## What you get

One email an evening, grouped by your categories, leaving out anything you have told your assistant to ignore.
Nothing is moved or changed in your mailbox. If no mail matched that day, no email is sent.

Under Activity, each evening appears as Sent your email digest or No matching mail. Open a row to read
the digest exactly as it was sent.
